The Election Commission of India launched ECINET in January 2026 at New Delhi during the India International Conference on Democracy and Election Management (IICDEM 2026). It is a single digital platform that brings all election-related services together. As a result, users no longer need multiple apps. Importantly, the platform supports all 22 scheduled Indian languages and English, allowing citizens to use it in their preferred language.
